"TREASURES OF TRUTH"

Lisa’s first book, “Treasures of Truth,” is filled with simple messages centered around the Word of God to bring hope and encouragement. She believes these ‘nuggets of truth’ will be a blessing to many. This book is available on Amazon in paperback and E-book form. All the proceeds from her book will go into “With A Purpose Ministries,” allowing her to freely give it to those she comes in contact with, as the Spirit of the Lord directs.

JR and Lisa Staton welcome you to 'With A Purpose Ministries' ! 

JR and Lisa reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Lord spoke to both of them in July 2015 to move to Colorado from Texas to go to Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado. They willingly obeyed the call of God.
 
A few weeks after the Lord spoke to them, they arrived here to begin an adventure and journey that God had ordained for their lives — their place called ‘there’ (read I Kings 17). This is a place where God planned for them to go from the foundation of the world (Acts 17:26). 
 
In 2017, God put in JR’s spirit that he would have a ministry called “With A Purpose Ministries.” Since that time, God has been preparing both of their hearts to minister the full counsel of God, by the Spirit as He directs, and to see a full manifestation of the resurrection power to those who will dare to believe. Ministry Involvement

JR and Lisa have various ministries God has led them to be involved in over the years which are listed below: 

  • Jail Ministry
  • Home Fellowship Bible Group (not presently active in this group)
  • Men’s Monthly Fellowship Meeting
  • Women’s Weekly Prayer Group (which Lisa leads)
  • Church for All Nations – Lisa Volunteers at Open Arms Pantry as well as prays with those who come to receive food
  • Women’s Weekly Life Group (Lisa taught ‘Walking in Victory’)
  • Mentoring/Biblical Counseling
  •  One on One Ministry
  • Traveling and Teaching Ministry
 
JR works for Andrew Wommack Ministries, which provides opportunity to minister and mentor to those in his department as well as to others in the ministry. Lisa has a full life ministering, volunteering and traveling as often as the Lord permits. 
 

They both love to spend their free time outdoors walking, hiking and traveling to different parts of Colorado enjoying the beauty of all four seasons that this state has to offer.

They have two children, Travis and Amy, son in-law John, and five grandchildren, Conner, Jacob, Mackenzie, Jullee and Hallee, all who live in Texas, whom they visit as often as they can.  CLICK ON PHOTO’S BELOW!
